Having studied in the UK, Shaykh Shafi Chowdhury specialises in the fields of Qur’anic recitations, Arabic language, Fiqh, Hadith and ‘Aqidah. Through travelling across various continents, Shaykh Shafi has engaged extensively in Da’wah by building bridges with Muslims from an array of communities and backgrounds.

He is the chief editor of Islamic publishing house, Fisabilillah Publications. He also frequently delivers lectures on a number of Islamic and Arabic disciplines. In addition to being a Muslim Chaplain in the Prison Service and a consultant to the National Offender Management Service (NOMS), Shaykh Shafi also partakes in developing programmes for Islamic spiritual learning.
